Outo viehätys / Strange fascination

Tässä on sarja, jossa on sekä uusia, että vanhoja kuvia. Vanhat kuvat on Hollannista vuodelta 2011 kun taas uudet on mun viime kuun Espanjan ja Portugalin reissulta. Halusin yhdistää nämä kuvat yhteen puhtaasti tunnelman takia. Ainakin mun mielestä näissä kaikissa on aika samankaltainen tunnelma - hieman kummallinen, ehkä jopa uhkaava, mutta myös kiehtova.

Here's a mix of old and new photos. The old ones are from Netherlands, 2011 and the new ones are from my trip to Spain and Portugal last month. The reason why I want to combine these together has to do with the atmosphere. I feel that it's quite similar in all of them - little bit strange, possibly even intimidating, but also fascinating.

Hola! Tässä tulee joitain tuoreita kuvia Espanjasta ja Portugalista, lähinnä Barcelonasta ja Lissabonista. Olin siellä reissaamassa viime kuussa ja oli aivan mielettömän hienoa. Siitäkin huolimatta, että Lissabon oli ihana, niin Barcelona oli se joka todella vei mun sydämen! Joskus sitä vain löytää jotain sellaista joka resonoi oman sisimmän kanssa - se voi olla paikka, ihminen, kirja tai valokuva. Välimeren ja ympäröivien vuorten läheisyydessä Barcelonassa oli todellakin mulle sitä jotakin joka resonoi. Ja oon onnellinen, että matkustin yksin. Oon kaivannut vapauden tunnetta ja nyt sain sen!

Hola! Here's some fresh photos from Spain and Portugal, mainly from Barcelona and Lisbon. I was traveling there last month and I had totally amazing time. Although Lisbon was nice, I must say that Barcelona really took my heart! Sometimes you just find something that resonates with you - a place, a person, a book or a photograph. With the proximity of Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding mountains, Barcelona was certainly that something for me. And I'm glad that I was traveling alone. I've been craving for the feeling of freedom and now I got it!
